Nihit Borpujari
Trained as an architect and in computational design research, I have managed the developments of all scales in the Middle East and India from residential interiors and complexes to townships and health centers from concept to completion on site. I have a Masters in Computation in Architecture from CITA, Centre for Information Technology and Architecture, where I conducted research with sustainable design fabrication and Machine Learning, publishing and presenting in the eCAADe conference and building a cutting-edge adaptive textile architectural pavilion in ZKM, Germany. My role as Computational Design Circle Lead in SLA has been to develop design processes that can augment our interdisciplinary approach, bringing in various in-house (biologists, lighting designers etc.) and external expertise into digital and hybrid modelling tools, and design directions that leverage emerging technologies for nature-based design.
