Pedro Andrade is an expert in the fields of steel structures and modular construction. He gained his expertise while pursuing his doctoral studies in Sweden, during which he actively participated in various research endeavors related to these domains. In industry he made significant contributions as a structural engineer in over 20 modular buildings having developed various modular solutions, such as: shafts/rigid cores, access corridors, and balconies, all of which contributed to the advancement of fully industrialized construction projects. Currently, Pedro currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Blufab (Casais Group) and also as Innovation Manager for Casais Group in Portugal. In these roles, he leads the integration of digital and automation technologies into construction processes, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and the transformation of the sector toward industrialized and data-driven practices.
