Ivan Tamayo Ramos leads SUSTAINABLE CITIES DESIGN AND URBAN ECOLOGY, providing strategic consulting to developers and municipalities implementing ecological principles in urban environments. As an active member of the URBAN AI community, he integrates artificial intelligence with sustainable design to create forward-thinking urban solutions. His consulting approach is informed by a diverse background spanning from hands-on construction to academic research. Previously, Ivan founded Tierradura (2015-2021), pioneering rammed earth construction techniques and sustainable architectural design for social housing and community centers. Ivan's professional portfolio includes a fellowship at the Norman Foster Institute developing conservation plans for San Marino, managing stakeholder relations for Costa Palmas' 400-hectare luxury development, and leading urban regeneration in Culiacan's historic center. This blend of experience with heritage sites, luxury developments, and community projects gives him a comprehensive understanding of sustainability across various urban contexts. Educated through the Sustainable Cities Leadership Program at the Norman Foster Institute and holding a Master's from the Architectural Institute in Prague, Ivan combines academic knowledge with practical implementation.
