Juan Rey
Juan Rey is a Civil Engineer with a PhD in Architecture and over 20 years of experience in structural engineering projects. He has worked on more than 2,000 projects globally, in more than 30 countries, collaborating with renowned architects like MVRDV and David Adjaye. He is the founder and CEO of Mecanismo and has held significant roles at ARUP and IDOM. He has extensive academic experience, teaching at various prestigious institutions including the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) and the University of Virginia (USA). His research focuses on the intersection of architecture and structural engineering. He has published over 25 papers and given numerous lectures worldwide.
