Xavier Vilalta
Xavier Vilalta is a world-renowned architect specialized in sustainability and innovation. He is the founder of Vilalta Studio, a Barcelona based firm working in the fields of Architecture, Urbanism and Design. His work is about finding a better connection between nature and people by combining innovative technology with local resources and traditions. He has given talks at multiple international events such as TED Global in Scotland and Smart Build in South Africa and has received numerous awards including the Leaf Awards 2008 Young Architect of the Year, the SAIE Selection in 2009 and 2010, and the UNESCO Versailles Award in 2017.
