Ruben Cabanillas Ramos
Architect Ruben Cabanillas Ramos brings a sustainability background to his work at CetraRuddy. He aims to bridge the gap between technical and design challenges, utilizing metrics to grasp and address enclosure behaviors and performance and comfort objectives. His use of parametric design language helps tackle design challenges throughout a project's lifecycle, allowing for the visualization of intricate topics in an accessible way. Ruben brings over 12 years in international practice, working on high-performance designs that include well-known projects such as Volpe HQ, Emory Cancer Institute, residential proposals in New York City, and international collaborations in Israel, Egypt, and Spain. His prior experience at Cetra Ruddy included international school design and residential projects. He holds an M.Arch from the Polytechnic of Madrid (ETSAM) and has international experience working in Spain, Germany, and the US. He has also been involved in academia with ETSAM, CUNY, Pratt, and Brooklyn City Tech.
