Sam Stacey is a construction industry leader and specialist in construction innovation. He has a unique perspective on the built environment, having served on the boards of the Building Research Establishment, the Construction Innovation Hub and the Active Building Centre. He began his career at Buro Happold and went on to specialize in Design Management and Innovation with Wates and Skanska. He combines technical know-how with degrees from some of the world’s leading universities: in Architecture from the University of Cambridge, Engineering from Imperial College, and an MBA from Henley Business School. From 2018 to 2022 Sam led the implementation of the UK Government’s industrial strategy for construction as Director of the acclaimed Transforming Construction Challenge.

Andrew Whalley OBE

Chairman at Grimshaw, UK

Andrew Whalley has played a pivotal role at Grimshaw since its inception, spearheading transformative projects across diverse sectors, including education, performing arts, culture, sports, infrastructure, transportation, workplace design, and industrial design. Andrew has consistently been dedicated to education and academia throughout his career. In the UK, he taught at the Royal College of Art Industrial Design Department, led a unit at the Architectural Association, and lectured at University College London. Most recently, he concluded his tenure as an Adjunct Professor at Milan’s POLIMI. His contributions include numerous academic publications on topics such as specialist structures, sustainability, smart cities, and urban design. Andrew also advises the UN-affiliated Consortium for Sustainable Urbanization. 2011 Andrew was appointed Deputy Chairman of Grimshaw, ascending to Chairman in 2019, succeeding Sir Nicholas Grimshaw. As Chairman, Andrew oversees the practice’s core design ethos, brand identity, and global relationships. Andrew is a registered architect in the UK and USA He has received several prestigious honours, including an Honorary Doctorate from his alma mater, the Glasgow School of Art. Andrew received an OBE in Queen Elizabeth’s New Year Honours List, 2022, recognising Andrew’s services to architecture and environmental sustainability.

Andrea White

Andrea White is an independent fire engineer and third-party accredited fire risk assessor, with her own consultancy – A W Fire Ltd. She is an Incorporated Engineer with both the IFE and with CABE. And she is proud to be a Fellow of the IFE, of CABE and a Chartered Fellow of IOSH. In 2023, Andrea was voted one of the Top 100 most influential women in the construction industry. In 2025 she was runner up for the Princes Royal’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Women in Science and Engineering. Andrea is Founder and Director of the Women Talking Fire group, an independent women’s networking and support group for the UK fire safety industry, and she is also an expert witness for the Courts on fire safety matters.

Xavier Aguilo i Aran

Xavier, an Industrial Engineering graduate from Barcelona, embarked on his engineering career in 1999 as a structural consultant at OMA, now part of SOCOTEC. quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an Associate in 2001 and later assuming the role of Director, where he opened and oversaw the Madrid office from 2007. In 2018, Xavier further expanded his remit by taking on the role of UK Manager in London. Alongside his professional achievements, Xavier is a distinguished lecturer at renowned institutions such as the AA (Architectural Association), the IaaC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia), the RCA (Royal College of Art), and Zigurat. With a specialisation in circular construction, sustainable design, and iconic structures, Xavier has made significant contributions to major projects for over two decades. His work reflects a deep commitment to the seamless integration of technology and architecture.

Noha Saleeb

Associate Professor in Creative Technology, Design Engineering Department at Middlesex University, London

Dr. Noha Saleeb is Associate Professor in Creative Digital Technologies & Construction at Middlesex University, and Programme Leader for its MSc Building Information Modelling Management programmes, and created the undergraduate BSc programme for Architectural Technology. Dr. Saleeb also provides consultation for both industry projects and organisations in sustainable design, construction, digital transformation, BIM, Digital Twins, AI and onsite project management. She is lead on different industry initiatives e.g. Director of African BIM Report 2024 and Business Development Lead- BIMAfrica, Editor-in-Chief of Smart Infrastructure and Construction International Journal, and advisory board member of several Professional Body steering committees e.g. London Digital Twin Research Centre, BIM4Heritage, CIOB Innovation SIG, National Institute of Building Services USA. As well as delivering many contributions as Keynote and Plenary Speaker, >100 journal, conference, industry and book chapter publications in the area of Sustainable Construction technologies. She is co-author of the Industry Standards “Artificial Intelligence Playbook” by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) UK, and “Digital Twins Position Paper for AECO” by the National Institute of Building Sciences, USA. Dr. Saleeb has won and led several industrial and council funded grant projects, , the novel Heritage Classification System output of which was utilised on vital assets e.g. Parliament Palace renovations. She achieved national/international awards for her expert work in the area of Sustainability, Digital Twins, Heritage, BIM and Construction Innovation:

Paul Onwuanibe

Paul Onwuanibe is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer, of Landmark Group.

Paul attended the prestigious Federal Government College Lagos between 1977 and 1982. He began his career in the ‘built environment’ with a formal education in Architecture, Property Development, and Construction Management and a London Business School MBA with merit in “Value Engineering”. Paul has 35 years of experience in the professional property environment with experience in the design and execution of development projects (Africa, USA, Europe).

He served as Development Director with Beacon Housing, a UK-based house builder. Paul was the executive responsible for the property and logistics team of Regus Plc during its rapid expansion years, which oversaw the opening of 190 business centers globally. He has expert knowledge of commercial property and workplace management and has led Landmark’s expansion into America, Europe, and Africa, now the most visited destination in West Africa.

Paul has won several international awards due to his deep and passionate interests and contributions to real estate in Africa. He is a member of the prestigious Young Presidents Organisation, YPO and sits on the board of several national and international companies like MTN’s Yellow Digital Bank, Chairman of the board of Lakeshore Cancer Centre, Board director at Kimberly Ryan Ltd, Carbon Bank amongst others, he is also one of the renowned lions on the Nigerian business reality show "Lion's Den" and is a three-time TEDx Speaker.

Paul is happily married to Dr Ikunna Onwuanibe and they are blessed with two children.

Andrew Shepherd

Arthur Mamou-Mani

Dr. Christian Bergmann

Georgios Askounis

Nihit Borpujari
